TP1, Sizing, and Honoring the Stop

TP1 is a banking objective

The signal's TP1 sits at the first real structural argument — typically the EMA-50/100/200 step or an ATR-based objective. Banking part of the position there pays for the trade: it covers the risk, funds the psychology, and leaves a runner for the trail to manage. The guide's rule is blunt: take TP1 if it triggers. Banked profit is the cheapest discipline you will ever buy.

Size for the volatility, not the conviction

The desk rules from the core arc still govern; this lesson adds the system-specific layer: ATR large → size smaller, even on LEGENDARY. Confluence is about quality of setup, not permission to oversize. A 9-score signal with violent ATR deserves a smaller position than a 6-score in quiet conditions. Tier tells you HOW MUCH agrees; ATR tells you how hard you can be wrong while being right.

Honor the SL

The stop sits where the thesis is wrong — beyond the swept structure. If price trades back through the sweep, the extreme did not fail, you were not on the third side this time, and the only professional response is to be flat. No re-entry on the same bar, no averaging down, no "it'll come back." The cooldown gate exists precisely so the system cannot re-tempt you immediately — borrow that discipline for your manual decisions too.

signal fires (bar close) → eyes confirm structure → regime check (panel)
→ size for ATR → enter, SL at signal level → TP1 banks partial
→ trail arms / floors / chases the runner → stopped on the ratchet or the SL
→ flat. journal it. wait for the next one.

That last line is the system. Flat is a position. The next signal always comes.
