MODULE 08 · LESSON 3 · 8 MIN
Your Setup: Charts and Alerts
Goal: Leave with a correctly configured chart and alert set.
This lesson is operational — the exact setup, matching the official guide.
Alert recipe
- Apply NOVEX SENSEI to your chart only if you already have separate product access. Academy completion does not earn, provision, or request indicator access.
- Alert:
Alt + A→ Condition:NOVEX SENSEI→Any alert() function call. - Trigger:
Once Per Bar Close. The script enforces bar-close confirmation internally; the alert setting should match it. No intra-bar repaint, no early triggers. - Expiration open-ended. Name it anything — the name does not affect logic.
Three configuration principles
Leave the scoring defaults alone until you have lived with them. Every parameter is editable in settings — tier floors, RR floor, cooldown, fib toggles. The defaults are the system as designed. Tuning before you have watched fifty signals is tuning blind.
The sizing display is a display. The portfolio input changes what the panel shows you — it does not change any signal logic. Sizing decisions are yours, and they live in the core arc's desk rules.
Timeframe discipline. The system was built around higher-timeframe structure. Dropping to ultra-low timeframes to "get more signals" gets you more noise wearing the same labels.
Done correctly, your phone now buzzes only when nine dimensions and four gates have already done their work. Your job starts at the buzz.
NOVEX SENSEI is a research and educational tool. It does not provide financial advice and does not guarantee future results. You are responsible for your own risk management, position sizing, and execution.
Takeaways
- ▸ Any alert() function call + Once Per Bar Close — the whole alert recipe.
- ▸ Defaults first, opinions later. The sizing display never affects signals.
- ▸ Lower timeframe = more noise wearing the same labels.
